The male-female relationships in the Aeneid and the Odyssey are based on rigid gender roles that seem outdated in today’s society. However, these great epics also serve as the source of cherished notions about romantic love that still survive today.
After reading the Odyssey, I was compelled to write a life lesson for it. There are so many great things to be learned from this book, but perseverance was the most important to me.
