"Gone With the Wind" was published over seventy years ago and was the most popular book to ever come out of Georgia. Many people seem to think the movie was created out of thin air and haven’t a clue that the book even exists. Splendid as the Hollywood version was it doesn’t hold a candle to the book Margaret Mitchell published. You must read the book to get the full picture of this powerful southern story as the author intended you to see it.
