Misery by Stephen King

This is a book review of Misery, by Stephen King.

I watched the movie years ago and finally read the book.  At first, for some reason I thought that I wouldn’t get into the book, but I ended up thinking that it was better than the movie.

A famous writer was in a car accident and wakes to found him held against his will be a crazy lady, who claims to be his number one fan.  She gets really upset when she finds out that he killed of the main character, Misery, in the last novel of the series, and ends up making him write another novel bringing her back to life.

He can’t walk and the weather was too bad for him to escape in the wheelchair, and besides, he got hooked on the pills that she was giving him.

He finds out that she has killed a lot of people throughout the years, and she kills while he is in the house.

He finally escapes because still fears that she will come back to get him.
