Laura Ingalls Wilder is well know as the author of the "Little House" books. Her first book was "Little House in the Big Woods" from there she went on to write seven more "Little House" books. Her books are so popular you would be hard pressed to find anyone in the U.S.who hasn’t heard about them or the "Little House" series that was on television. The Ingalls family stories of living in the wilds of the country before the event of railroads and settled communities, are a pleasure for any child or young at heart adult to read. (me)
